BP Energy is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineering Manager in Grand Junction, CO, to oversee engineering packages for Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities. The role involves coordinating teams, managing external engineering firms, and ensuring project specifications are met. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, 7-10 years of experience in gas processing, and knowledge of relevant standards. This is a full-time position.

The company's Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) division is a leader in landfill gas to energy production. With over 50 sites across the US, we specialize in RNG facility development, construction, and operation. Our team operates robustly with a significant development pipeline.

About the Role
The Principal Facility Engineer will oversee complete engineering packages for RNG facilities. This involves coordinating internal teams and Balance of Plant engineering to deliver high-quality packages. The successful candidate will manage external engineering firms, serve as a conduit between in-house design engineers and construction teams, and ensure project specifications are met.

Key Accountabilities
- Own the outcome of Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) utilizing HAZOP methodology, implementing recommendations as needed.
- Collaborate with Design/Process, Project Management & Construction Teams to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Review and approve major engineering submittals from contractors, including Plot Plans, P&IDs, Area Classification Drawings, One-Lines, etc.
- Maintain knowledge of ASME, AGA, AISC, OSHA, and ASTM standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent in a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in midstream natural gas processing/treating space.
- Knowledge of specific technical areas like Gas processing/treating, Gas compression equipment, Flare and thermal oxidizers, ICE, Screw compressors, Reciprocating compressors, crankcase ventilation system, compressors/blowers, Expansion joints, HVAC systems, Fluid flow principles, Thermal Systems, Mechanical design & Structural analysis, ASME, AISC, OSHA, AGA, and ASTM standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
