About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Engineering Lead to join our team at ONYX Insight. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading projects on wind turbine towers, foundations, and structural components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with hands-on experience in design, prototyping, testing, and implementing controls on machinery. You will also have a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading product direction and decision-making at ONYX, bringing valuable field insights from regional projects to enhance tower and foundation monitoring solutions.
• Collaborating with the business development team to create accurate costings and technical sales proposals.
• Representing ONYX at industry events, contributing to presentations and expanding our presence.
• Overseeing and managing condition monitoring hardware installation projects, both remotely and on-site.
• Ensuring smooth communication with clients and internal/external stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.
• Developing and delivering customer-facing presentations, project reports, and updates.
• Ensuring the successful delivery of pilot and commercial projects, from initial concept to final execution.
• Managing subcontractors and creating work instructions for efficient project delivery.
• Providing expert consulting on predictive maintenance and asset management strategies.
