Overview

Kimley-Horn's Baltimore County, Maryland (MD) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Renewable Energy team! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

Our Renewable Energy team works on projects including:Pipeline DesignSolar Site DesignBattery Storage DesignEV Charging DesignProject Due Diligence and Site ConstraintsJurisdictional Permitting and Agency CoordinationAssist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedulesThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projectsYou will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationshipsYou will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors
Base Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation

Qualifications

4+ years of relevant engineering design experienceProfessional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)Candidates should have experience within the Energy discipline including experience with design, permitting, and applicable software applicationsExperience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasksFamiliar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standardsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3DAbility to build plan sets and other construction documentsDesign experience that includes utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting
