Renewable Energy Engineer

Strata Clean Energy is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer in Farnham, VA. This role requires a skilled and experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our team as a Renewable Energy Engineer. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for executing solar PV system installations, following the lead of our Electrical Foreman.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute solar PV system installations, following the lead of the Electrical Foreman.
• Work on both aboveground and underground electrical projects.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and/or the Construction Manager's morning meeting.
• Develop and maintain a positive company image, both internally with fellow employees and with customers.
• Responsible for the upkeep of all company-issued tools and equipment.
• Evaluate work sites for Safety, Quality, and Efficiency of scheduled work for the day.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of Electrical installation experience.
• Solar Experience highly preferred.
• Journeyman electrician (License or verified experience).
• NFPA 70 highly preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to read construction drawings, diagrams, and develop a working plan for implementation of design.
• Demonstrated knowledge of connecting and installing AC and DC power supply systems.
• Experience completing Electrical Testing; IRT, Multi-Meter use, Fall of Potential, and Continuity.
• Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
