Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Senior Associate. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of solar energy systems that meet the energy needs of communities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed electrical designs for community solar PV systems, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts.
• Perform electrical load calculations and ensure proper system sizing to meet project specifications and optimize energy output.
• Select and specify appropriate electrical components, including inverters, switchgear, transformers, and protective devices.
• Ensure the design complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and other relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain it.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design and construction, with a focus on solar PV systems.
