Job Overview

This Senior Engineer role will lead geotechnical engineering projects, focusing on the solar sector. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and experience working on large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects
• Manage routine to complex geotechnical engineering projects
• Develop / assist in development of business goals and objectives
• Support client relationships to effectively achieve market sector goals and strategies
• Identify and pursue solar-related business / client development opportunities
• Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships
• Work with regional operations leaders to effectively coordinate staff, resources, and manage workloads
• Perform engineering analyses using company and industry standards and methodology
• Review engineering analyses and reports prepared by junior level engineering staff
• Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required
• Texas Professional Engineer registration/license required
• 5 or more years of solar geotechnical engineering experience required
• Previous experience with large scale construction projects preferred
• Experience working in a consulting firm preferred but not required
• Ability to bring in existing client relationships preferred but not required
