Designing for a Sustainable Future

We're looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer who can thrive in an autonomous work environment and deliver high-quality design solutions efficiently. Your expertise will enhance the user experience of our products, which are already benefiting tens of thousands of Australians. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to ensure your stream meets their goals and delivers an outstanding customer experience.

In this role, you'll:

1. Lead Design Efforts: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement comprehensive design solutions that align with organizational priorities and drive measurable outcomes.
2. Uphold Design Vision: Advocate for Amber's overarching design vision and style, ensuring consistency across products.
3. Drive User-Centric Design: Craft compelling narratives to build empathy and advocate for users, aligning design initiatives with organizational goals to achieve measurable business results.
Responsibilities


- Design for Business Impact: Define and implement design solutions that balance customer needs with business objectives, driving measurable outcomes.
- User Advocacy: Represent user needs and influence decision-making processes to create user-centric designs.
- Integrated Team Collaboration: Seamlessly engage with multiple product teams to manage end-to-end design projects, delivering high-quality designs for both mobile and web platforms.
- Evidence-Based Solutions: Apply design methodologies to create actionable insights and connect solutions to business or brand objectives.
- Cross-Platform Design Consistency: Maintain visual and brand coherence across all digital touchpoints, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Transparent Design Communication: Share design processes and work openly, balancing advocacy for decisions with receptivity to constructive feedback.

Salary:
$130,000 - $155,000 per annum

This is a full-time role based ideally in Melbourne but also open to considering the right candidate anywhere within Australia. We offer flexible working arrangements and encourage collaboration across multiple locations.
