ACRWORLD is seeking a Renewable Energy Consultant/Senior Consultant in Melbourne, VIC, to provide technical advice on renewable energy projects. They provide support across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility to commissioning and operations.
About The Role
We are seeking a Renewable Energy Consultant or Senior Consultant to join a high performing team. It's a fantastic opportunity for a technically capable and motivated professional, who wants to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects, influence key decisions, and be part of the clean energy transition.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver technical advice on wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects at various stages of development
• Undertake energy yield assessments, feasibility studies, technical due diligence, and grid connection reviews
• Support or lead client engagements, providing high-quality deliverables and strategic insights
• Interface with key stakeholders, including developers, regulators, OEMs, and network service providers
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and mentorship within the consultancy’s growing team
Skills & Experience
• Degree in electrical, renewable energy or related engineering discipline
• Ideally 2-7+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy (consulting, development, EPC, or utility)
• Strong working knowledge of solar PV, wind, or BESS technologies
• Proficiency in tools such as PVSyst, WindPRO, Homer etc.
• Sound understanding of the Australian energy market, NER, GPS negotiations and AEMO requirements
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• A proactive mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
