Scout Clean Energy is seeking a Renewable Energy Category Manager in Boulder, CO. Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry and its complexities. They will have a strong track record of managing category procurement processes, developing negotiation strategies, and executing deals. The role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement lifecycle for wind turbine systems and other categories, including market research, supplier identification, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure alignment with Scout Clean Energy's goals and objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Analyze market trends, competitive pricing, and supplier performance to inform strategic procurement decisions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Degree in technical, business, or finance fields and supply chain certification are a plus).
- 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in the utility-scale renewable energy field.
- Category management experience involving both technical and commercial complexity.
