Renewable Energy Accountant

About the Role

This position is part of Recurrent Energy's Finance team, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager based in Milan. The selected candidate will be responsible for various accounting topics, including Account Payables, Account Receivables, Project Assets, and other related duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and sort invoices and check requests.">
• Prepare and process payments to vendors and employee reimbursements.">
• Ensure payment requests are supported with necessary documentation and authorization.">
• Process payment requests and code them with appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers in SAP system, adhering to company policy.">
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.">
• Record revenues and issue customer invoices in a timely manner.">
• Verify, analyze, investigate, and resolve payable invoice discrepancies and deficiencies.">
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.">
• Reconcile with inter-company and 3rd party vendors and service providers.">

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting experience, cash management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Working knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, is advantageous. Additionally, the ability to deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels and comfort working in an unstructured environment are essential.
