Role Description

The Remuneration Specialist is an opportunity in our People Strategy and Planning Team based at our Perth Central Park office.

This primary focus of this role will be to design and implement remuneration programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company’s objectives.

Job Responsibilities
• The successful candidate will lead all aspects of remuneration.
• You will manage the annual remuneration review while overseeing the administration and communication of key programs including retention schemes, incentive programs, and salary structures.
• You will prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations on compensation and benefits to senior management, supporting informed business decisions.
• By monitoring and evaluating the impact of these programs, you will identify opportunities for improvement, make recommendation and implement solutions to optimise engagement, retention, and performance.
• The role will work in a highly collaborative team of specialists and may from time-to-time lean into other projects and initiatives in the areas of strategic workforce planning, organisational design, and other aspects of total reward such as benefits and the employee value proposition.

What You Will Bring

You will be a skilled and adaptable individual with a deep understanding of compensation and benefits, coupled with the ability to drive strategic business outcomes. You will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly and concisely.

Required Skills And Experience
• Proven experience in a similar remuneration and benefits specialist role.
• Proficiency in handling complex data, Excel, and remuneration analytics.
• Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles and Australian compliance regulations; prior experience working for a government owned entity will be well regarded.
• Experience with fixed and variable remuneration programs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; and high attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
