Job Description
Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Environmental Assessment & Remediation in Los Angeles, CA. The role requires 15+ years of environmental consulting experience, including 10 years in project management, and expertise in California regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing environmental assessments, leading project management, and engaging with clients. A BS (MS preferred) in a related field and professional licensure are required.
Environmental Assessment and Remediation Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager - Environmental Assessment & Remediation to join our Los Angeles Area environmental team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading project management, technical execution, team engagement, and strategic client and business development for multi-disciplinary industrial and construction environmental clients.
• Key Skills and Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, in-depth knowledge of California regulations, and the ability to provide high-end technical advisory support.
• A minimum of 10 years of project management experience with multi-disciplinary environmental compliance projects and proven responsibility with scope / schedule / budget.
• A BS (MS preferred) from an accredited college/university with a major in environmental engineering, geology, or related field.
• Professional licensure (PE or PG) or the ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• What You Will Do
You will oversee environmental site assessments, soil, soil gas, and groundwater assessments, feasibility studies, remedial action plans, remediation system design/operation, construction, multi-media compliance efforts, and other supporting technical studies. You will also lead project management, technical execution, team engagement, and strategic client and business development for multi-disciplinary industrial and construction environmental clients. Additionally, you will maintain experience/working-knowledge with Department of Toxic Substances Control and Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board.
