About the Role:
Lennar Homes is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Environmental Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing Lennar's Environmental Management System (LEMS) across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and resources to ensure that divisions within the region implement LEMs effectively.
• Develop and coordinate training programs for division environmental managers and associates.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with air quality regulations and other environmental standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to reduce liability related to environmental non-compliance.
• Communicate effectively with regional and division-level management to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Requirements:
• Seven years of experience in soils and/or erosion control.
• College degree in agriculture, civil or environmental management/engineering; geology, geography, soil science, natural resource management or a related field.
• Certified as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC); Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ) or qualified to take the exam.
• Strong understanding of residential construction practices desired.
• Working knowledge of laws and regulations relating to the federal Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act, as well as air quality regulations required.
