Job Description
Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a Regional Manager for Northern NSW to oversee operations, lead teams, and manage financial performance. The Opportunity
Reporting to our State Manager, you will be leading, directing and managing all operations within the Northern NSW region and deliver annual business plans, profit targets and strategic objectives. You will also be responsible for leading, directing and managing all People, Market and Asset activities for the Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing waste collection services, ensuring high levels of efficiency, and compliance with environmental regulations.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Branch managers and operational staff.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
• Manage and optimise capital, plant and equipment, fleet and construction.
• Accountable for the regional profit and loss, budget, forecasts and financial performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, government, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing health and safety regulations.
About You
• Prior leadership experience in a similar role within waste management or transport is desirable.
• Proven track record of managing multiple facilities and leading large teams.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets, analyse financial data, and make strategic decisions.
