Description

Responsible for the timely processing of patient referrals requested by a primary care practitioner, specialist, or ancillary service provider. Acts as a liaison between the patient and the primary care practitioner, specialist, ancillary service provider, and/or insurance carrier. Performs duties in a way that maintains the privacy of each patient's health information.

Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year experience in a managed care environment or physician office. Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the insurance referral and authorization process.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers both verbally and in writing in the English language.
• Reliable means of transportation and proof of valid vehicle insurance
