About the position:

Full-time position. We are seeking a Red Seal Electrician for Residential and Commercial electrical work. This includes Solar and EV charging station installations as well as general electrical work. There is a potential for wind and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) work as well for the right candidate.

Responsibilities will include leading a small team of 2 or 3 with electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality standards are adhered to.

This position sometimes has long hours (12 -14 hours a day during the busy season), and involves being able to work in all weather conditions. There is also manual labour involved.

Candidate must:
• Have a valid driver's license
• Be able to work comfortably and safely from heights (300 ft or more)
• Fall Arrest certification and high angle rescue (can be provided)
• Have experience in a related field
• Willingness to learn, travel, and work flexible hours
• Have a "can do" and positive attitude
• Ability to drive and handle a truck and trailer safely
• Experience with or willingness to learn new skills such as heavy equipment operating (Forklift, Excavator, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms)

Pay: $35-40 per hour
