Recycling Operative – Leatherhead, Surrey

Location: Mole Valley Recycling Facility, Leatherhead, KT22 0BA
Salary: £564 - £601 per week (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Working Hours: 44.75 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) + alternate Saturday mornings (7am-11:30am)

Key Responsibilities

✔ Transfer and sort recyclable materials (paper, cardboard, cans, etc.)
✔ Operate machinery and mobile plant, including forklifts and excavators
✔ Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure smooth plant operation
✔ Load containers for onward recycling and disposal
✔ Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
