Purpose at Ashley:

The Recycle role will be crucial in ensuring sustainable waste management practices and promoting environmentally friendly initiatives. You will be responsible for sorting incoming materials such as wood, metal, plastic, cardboard, and other recyclable materials. This involves identifying different types of materials and separating them according to the proper recycling processes for the warehouse. 

What You’ll Do

· Collecting the waste materials from various areas of the warehouse and sorting them into designated containers based on the type of material such as cardboard, plastic, and foam

· Operating a baler to compact and bundle recyclable materials such as cardboard and plastic into dense and manageable blocks

· Operate PIV to move blocks of material Sit down

· Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.

What You Bring

· Legally Authorized to work in the US.

· 18 years old or older.

· Regularly lift objects over 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

· Ability to transport loads of 40 bs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

· Maintain reliable attendance.
