Recycling and Garbage Truck Driver/Loader

Emterra Group is hiring a full-time Recycling and Garbage Truck Driver/Loader in Greater Napanee, ON. Responsibilities include operating waste collection vehicles, loading materials, ensuring safety, and providing customer service. Job Duties:
• Operate waste collection/recycling vehicles (Rear Pack and Manual side loader);
• Load curbside materials into the truck;
• Observe safe work practices;
• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies;
• Ensure assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner;
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Requirements:
• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR;
• Minimum one-year experience driving with DZ license OR an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school;
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
• Able to successfully pass a background check consisting of an MTO medical/drug test, criminal history search, license verification and employment confirmation;
• Punctual, reliable, team player.
