Our client, a well established client in Westchester County NY is looking for a a real estate admin to join their team. This is a permanent position with room for growth and great benefits. This opportunity is 5 days per week onsite.

Job Responsibilities:

Real Estate Expertise

• Drafting closing checklists and closing indices

• Reviewing and abstracting leases and loan documents

• Preparing closing binders

• Attending and coordinating transaction closings

• Preparing estoppels and special endorsements

• Reviewing and analyzing contracts, title reports, exception documents, and ALTA surveys

• Drafting and compiling closing documents

• Negotiating with title companies to secure title insurance

• Preparing closing instructions

Corporate Expertise

• Draft board and shareholder corporate resolutions; coordinate due diligence

• Qualify and dissolve various types of business entities in U.S. jurisdictions

• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Research and advise on corporate governance issues, particularly related to re-election of directors and shareholders for major clients

• Compile closing documents and prepare closing binders

• Coordinate closings

• Preparing documents to form

• General corporate housekeeping

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies or possess a Paralegal Certification from an accredited school

• Experience in real estate and bank closings

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be detail-oriented and a team-player

• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Strong in MS Office Suite

• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
