Bureau Veritas Group is seeking a contract RBI Engineer for an on-site position in Karachi, Pakistan. The role includes developing risk-based inspection methodologies, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Role Description

This is a contract role for an RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) Engineer located on-site in Karāchi. The RBI Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing risk-based inspection methodologies, analyzing equipment and process data, and making recommendations to mitigate risks. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, preparing reports, and advising on maintenance strategies.

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:
• RBI study of UEPL assets, including preparation of line listing and collection of design & operating data of static equipment.
• RBI & conventional inspection data set up & update in the UEPL-approved software (Currently ACET).
• Assurance of data in the UEPL-approved software.
• Ensure compliance to UEPL procedures, HSE objectives and Performance Contract.
• Conduct Safety audits, SC’s and SOC’s.
• Ensure housekeeping of concerned offices and workplaces.

Qualifications:
• Professional Engineer (Graduate in Engineering).
• API 580 Certified.
• Knowledge or certification of relevant API codes, i.e., API 510, API 570, API 653, and API 571.

Experience:
• 10 years’ experience of RBI.
• At least 5 years’ experience of RBI pressure systems in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Good command over Inspection database management software like ACET, PALLADIO, etc.
• Good command over RBI software / sheets (It would be advantageous if the candidate has experience with Palladio).

Notes:
• The candidate's final interview would be conducted by the client.
• Overtime/TADA will be applicable as per policy and approval of the client.
• Filed Engineer rotation will be 21 days off and 21 days onsite. No annual or casual leaves will be accepted for field engineers.
• RBI engineer job days from Monday to Friday and sitting would be in Karachi Bureau Office or at UEPL head office.
