Job Description

The Queensland Government is hiring two Natural Resource and Pest Management Rangers for the South West Region, based in Toowoomba, Roma, or Charleville. The role involves leading a team to manage invasive species and deliver pest management programs in protected areas. Ideal candidates should have skills in pest management, project planning, and stakeholder engagement. The position offers a collaborative workplace with flexibility and development opportunities.
Join the Team as one of Two South West Region OO6 Natural Resource and Pest Management Rangers. You'll contribute to the delivery of priority pest management programs and the protection of SWR's natural values. You will be leading a small team to deliver positive outcomes for some of Queensland's diverse protected areas through the management of invasive species. If you have skills in weed and pest animal Management, project management, planning and stakeholder engagement this may be the role for you.
