Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications for solar analytics products
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Implement data analysis and visualization techniques to derive meaningful insights from solar energy data
• Integrate third-party APIs and data sources to enhance the functionality of solar analytics applications
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability to accommodate growing data volumes
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices for code quality and efficiency
• Work in an Agile environment to deliver software solutions in iterative and incremental cycles
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to software design, implementation, and maintenance

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in Python development, with a focus on building data-centric applications
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, including data manipulation, visualization, and interpretation
• Understanding of solar energy principles and familiarity with solar data formats and standards
• Experience in integrating APIs and working with external data sources to enrich software functionalities
• Strong knowledge of database systems such as SQL, NoSQL, or time-series databases
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for managing codebase and collaborative development
• Experience in Agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
