Job Summary:

As a Proposal Writer at vTech, you will support the U.S. side of our business by developing compelling proposals, responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other client-facing documents. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—both local and remote—to craft high-quality content that highlights our strengths, experience, and value propositions. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects that are central to our growth in the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities:
• Write, edit, and format persuasive proposals and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other client requests.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (sales, technical teams, subject matter experts, and executives) to gather the information required for tailored proposals.
• Ensure proposals highlight vTech’s strengths, capabilities, and experience, adapting content to meet client needs and requirements.
• Support the development of both technical and financial proposals, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with client specifications.
• Manage proposal timelines and ensure the delivery of high-quality content within deadlines.
• Review, proofread, and refine proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards and branding.
• Stay informed about industry trends, proposal-writing best practices, and market needs.
• Participate in proposal strategy sessions, contributing insights to enhance vTech’s competitive positioning.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, IT, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong research, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple proposals simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Experience in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other proposal management tools.
• Knowledge of government contracting processes (SLED, federal, state, or local) is a plus.
• Familiarity with the U.S. contracting environment is a bonus.
