The Technical Software Services (TSS) Team: Driving Innovation and Excellence. TSS is a cornerstone of Arup's global Digital Technology Group (DTG), playing a pivotal role in delivering and supporting cutting-edge Information Technology across the firm. This global team of technical specialists excels in engineering platforms (CDEs) and design tools, with a strong focus on the Transport, Buildings, Water, and Energy sectors.
By collaborating closely with global business leaders, skills leaders, and delivery teams-including the wider BIM and Automation teams-TSS ensures seamless integration and optimal performance of our technical software solutions. Their expertise and dedication drive innovation and excellence, enabling Arup to stay at the forefront of technological advancements and deliver exceptional value to our clients and communities.

The Opportunity

• Lead a team of technical specialists, interfacing globally to support project delivery and the adoption of best-in-class engineering tools and platforms.
• Design, implement, operate, and support EDMS and CDE services in AUS/EA, ensuring they meet SLA and client requirements, including conformance to standards such as BS1192 and ISO 19650, and data residency regulations.
• Maintain and manage core AEC engineering application portfolios from Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI, and Trimble, focusing on their integration across disciplines and within EDMS and CDE solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Project Directors, Managers, and engineers to define needs and deliver solutions as part of a global technology team.
• Work with vendors and technology providers to implement robust services that improve project delivery and align with business needs.

Is this role right for you?
• Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
• Understanding of EDMS and CDE systems' design, implementation, and operation
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and a flexible approach to solutions
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and other international standards
