About the Role:

ViGo Bioenergy is seeking a capable junior or mid-level Project and Services Specialist to support delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) & compressed natural gas (CNG) HGV refuelling station projects across the UK.

You will work closely with the Head of Operations to plan, coordinate, and monitor projects from development through construction and commissioning. The role also involves supporting the O&M Service function and assisting the O&M Service Team with various operational tasks.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with relevant experience looking to grow in a fast-paced, operationally focused business.
Key Responsibilities of the Project and Services Specialist:

Project Planning & Coordination:
• Support the Head of Operations in planning and coordinating civil works
• Develop and maintain project programmes, rollout schedules, and milestones
• Coordinate activities across multiple sites and stakeholders
• Support coordination, issue resolution, and HSE compliance

Regulatory & Planning Support:
• Assist with planning applications and hazardous substances consent applications
• Prepare and submit regulatory and technical documentation
• Track approvals and compliance actions

Stakeholder & Customer Liaison:
• Act as a point of contact for customers during planning, delivery, and handover
• Liaise with internal teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities
• Support professional communication and progress reporting

Project Documentation & Controls:
• Create and maintain comprehensive project packs
• Support cost tracking, change control, and maintain accurate project records

Supplier & Contractor Management:
• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation activities
• Support supplier and contractor performance monitoring

Additional Support Activities:
• Assist O&M Field Service function with organisational and enabling tasks
• Attend conferences and events in our business sector (e.g., IGEM)
• Provide general Customer Services support to existing and new Customers

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:
• Formal qualification in construction or project management OR experience in infrastructure, construction, energy, or industrial projects
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with strong organisation and communication skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK, including overnight stays
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:
• Experience with LNG, CNG, gas, or hazardous installations
• Exposure to planning or regulatory approval processes
• Site-based construction experience
