Brown and Caldwell is seeking an Associate Project Manager for its Municipal Services team in Kennebunk, ME. This full-time role involves leading project teams, managing scopes, schedules, and budgets for water-related engineering projects. Candidates should have a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 4-8 years of experience, and a PE license. The position requires approximately 25% travel within New England and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Brown and Caldwell is excited to announce an opening for an Associate Project Manager to enhance our Municipal Services team. This full-time position plays a crucial role in delivering innovative planning, evaluation, design, and construction support services for various water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

In this role, you will:

Lead Project Teams: Define objectives, make pivotal decisions, and set critical success factors.Establish Effective Communication: Create frameworks for team interactions, client communications, and technical decision-making.Motivate Team Members: Resolve conflicts and provide constructive feedback.Foster Trust: Uphold integrity and transparency within the team.Encourage Diverse Perspectives: Build an inclusive environment where all voices are valued.Facilitate Team Development: Promote continuous learning and skills enhancement within the team.Your duties will also include:

Scope Management: Collaborate on detailed scopes of work to set clear expectations and avoid overruns.Schedule Management: Help maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery.Budget Oversight: Develop project budgets which align with scope and timelines.Quality Management: Implement quality plans to enhance client trust and minimize errors.Change Management: Identify changes and manage risks effectively throughout the project lifecycle.Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and success.Qualifications:

BS in Civil, Environmental, or related field.4-8 years of project management experience in water-related engineering.Proficient in MS Office Suite and project scheduling software.Willingness to travel approximately 25% within New England.Preferred Qualifications:

MS and/or MBA in relevant field.PE certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.PMP certification from PMI.Previous supervisory or mentoring experience is a plus.Salary: Anticipated starting pay ranges from $97,000 to $158,000 based on location and experience.
