Job Description

Green Infrastructure Partners is seeking a Project Manager for Technical Design and Construction in Toronto, ON. The role involves managing project finances, schedules, and quality, leading teams, interfacing with stakeholders, and ensuring safety and environmental standards. Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction. The position emphasizes sustainability and diversity within the workplace.
The Project Manager plays a critical role in the success of our construction projects. This position is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage project finances, including monitoring expenses, tracking revenues, and analyzing financial reports
• Maintain accurate project schedules, including setting deadlines, tracking progress, and identifying potential delays
• Ensure high-quality work by conducting regular inspections, implementing quality control measures, and addressing any defects or issues
• Supervise and lead project teams, including providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
• Interface with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and third-party vendors
• Monitor and report on project safety, health, and environmental impacts
• Identify and mitigate risks, opportunities, and challenges throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil, road, and bridge construction projects
• Experience in AFP/P3 Design-Build projects is an asset
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry, including building materials, specifications, methods, procedures, law, and codes
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities
