ARM is seeking a Planning Project Manager / Graduate for a renewable energy organization in Bodmin, Cornwall. This full-time, permanent role involves supporting planning applications and site feasibility studies for wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects across the UK. Location: Bodmin, Cornwall Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 DOE Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role



ARM is recruiting on behalf of a leading renewable energy organisation for a Planning Project Manager / Graduate to join an established planning team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to develop within the renewable energy sector, supporting the delivery of wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects across the UK.

The role offers exposure to planning applications, site feasibility studies, and renewable energy development processes within a fast-paced and technical environment.



Key Responsibilities

Support the preparation and submission of planning applicationsAssist with planning research and site feasibility studiesPrepare plans, visuals, and supporting documents for planning activitiesReview and assess sites for wind, solar PV, and battery storage potentialAssist in identifying and evaluating new development opportunities across the UKWork closely with planning and development teams to progress projectsUse GIS and mapping tools to support site selection and analysis

Essential Requirements

Degree qualified in Planning, Renewable Energy, Environmental Studies, or a related disciplineExperience with ArcGIS and AutoCADStrong attention to detail with a methodical and process-driven approachExcellent communication and organisational skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelFull UK driving licence

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

Interest or experience in renewable energy, particularly wind energyAssociate membership (or working towards) RTPI or IEMAExperience in site identification or development planning processes
