Project Manager - Renewable Energy

Job Description

The selected candidate will serve as project manager for energy and power projects involving transmission and distribution, including substations and transmission lines, renewables such as solar, battery, and wind, hydropower, electrification, generation, and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities include:
• Providing expertise on planning, design, and construction phase projects to support constructability and delivery excellence;
• Ensuring comprehensive ownership throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal development to project initiation, planning, implementation, and closeout;
• Effectively leading in a matrix organization and managing project teams to ensure project success;
• Accountable for cost/budgeting and management, communication management, change management, schedule management, construction management oversight, risk management, regulatory and stakeholder management;
• Supporting key client relationship management and marketing efforts, with some regional travel anticipated.

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or related discipline, 7-10 years of progressive experience in project management, including the electric utility industry, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and project software. A Professional Engineer license and/or PMP certification is also desirable.
