About the position

Calstate Energy Inc, a growing renewable energy company in California, is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. We specialize in utility-scale solar projects and are committed to driving the transition to clean, sustainable energy solutions across the state. The Junior Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting the management of solar energy projects, ensuring that all aspects of the projects are coordinated effectively and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who is motivated and has a keen interest in renewable energy, as well as a basic understanding of project management principles. In this role, the Junior Project Coordinator will assist in coordinating various aspects of utility-scale solar projects. This includes supporting senior project managers in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets, organizing and participating in project meetings, and taking and distributing minutes. The coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining project documentation and assisting in preparing reports. Coordination with various team members, including engineering, procurement, and construction, is essential to track project milestones and deadlines, alerting senior management of potential issues as they arise. Additionally, the coordinator will help monitor contractor and vendor activities and ensure compliance with relevant California regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Requirements
• 0-2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in renewable energy or construction

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Project

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Keen interest in renewable energy and sustainability

Nice-to-haves
• Familiarity with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Construction (EPLC) processes
