Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. seeks a Project Manager for the Midwest Region, primarily based in Northfield, OH. The role involves managing large-scale renewable energy projects, developing client relationships, and leading teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in environmental sciences and 5-7 years of consulting experience. The position requires some travel and fieldwork, with a focus on project management and technical consulting.
Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. is looking for a Project Manager to support the growth and development of existing and new client relationships for the firm in Midwest markets. The Project Manager will focus not only on technical consulting and project management but also on the development of teams within the Natural Resources Service Line. Experience managing and permitting multiple large-scale, complex natural resource renewable energy projects (e.g., wind and solar) is paramount for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple concurrent large, complex projects, set budgetary goals and expectations, and schedules
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and industry requirements in the power sector
• Keep updated on regional permitting and develop a professional network
• Work with senior leadership to develop team goals and needs, which includes budgeting, forecasting, resource planning and business development
• Meet deliverable schedules, schedule staff for projects and adhere to budgets
• Lead and support project pursuits through proposal development and collaboration
• Maintain agency relationships and the ability to represent ECT as a professional expert
• Develop and maintain key client relationships by following client-specific protocols, addressing client needs and providing outstanding responsiveness in anticipation of client needs
• Participate in team building including internal training, quality review and mentorship
• Work independently and assist with business development planning, while collaborating with the larger team to schedule project tasks
• Write and QA/QC technical reports

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences required
• 5-7 years of experience as an environmental consultant
• Renewable energy, oil and gas, and/or electric transmission experience desired
• Strong state and federal environmental permitting experience desired
• Strong technical knowledge base in wetlands, wildlife, and/or botany

Job Requirements:
• The ideal candidate will be located in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio or Wisconsin.
• 10% travel requirement, mostly overnight stays; fluctuates based on client demands
• Primary duties are within an office environment, with occasional fieldwork (e.g., meeting with clients on site visits or driving a project corridor)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Intermediate skills related to GPS/GIS applications desired
• Exceptional verbal and technical writing skills
• Experience and ability to complete thorough technical reviews
