Job Description

Plug Power is seeking a Project Manager for Hydrogen Systems in Tupelo, MS, with a salary up to $125,800 and bonus eligibility. Responsibilities include managing hydrogen fueling infrastructure projects, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring timely project completion. Candidates should have a BS in engineering, at least three years of relevant experience, and be willing to travel frequently within the U.S. Preferred qualifications include PMP certification and experience in the hydrogen or gas industries.

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Lead and manage all aspects of hydrogen fueling infrastructure projects at customer locations
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring deadlines and budgetary guidelines are met
• Coordinate activities among industrial gas companies, permitting teams, design teams, and contractors
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, team members, and upper management, providing regular updates and status reports
• Ensure all project documentation and closeout documents are obtained before project completion
What is Required (Qualifications):
• BS degree in engineering: mechanical, electrical, or other applicable field of study
• Minimum of three (3) years working experience in project-based engineering functions and construction project management
• Proven track record in project management, delivering quality results on time and on budget
• Ability to travel frequently in the domestic U.S. to customer sites for project management activities; up to 100% of the time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• PMP certification highly preferred
• Experience in hydrogen and/or fuel cells, cryogenic industry, or gas processing/dispensing equipment
• Familiarity with high-pressure systems (250 Bar and up)
• Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
