We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead our Midwest Environmental Market team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing solid waste projects, encompassing permitting, design, construction, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.

This role requires overseeing a wide array of solid waste management initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to environmental regulations, and balancing both short-term and long-term business objectives.

The position involves supervising engineering staff, engaging in strategic planning, maintaining client relationships, and managing contracts. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration.
• *Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee large-scale solid and hazardous waste management projects, including landfill expansions, gas collection systems, landfill construction, and transfer stations.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Collaborate with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental laws and industry standards.
• Provide technical expertise in solid waste management, leachate treatment systems, and environmental mitigation projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies, ensuring smooth communication and effective project implementation.
• *Requirements:**
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental management, specifically in solid waste projects.
• In-depth knowledge of waste management, sustainability programs, and regulatory compliance.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (CPG) license is a plus.
