If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.ResponsibilitiesBuild on our growth in the region and will be facilitating the planning, design, and construction of complex water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects, including the development and execution of budgets, schedules, contract obligations, and quality standardsManages the successful execution of water and wastewater utility projectsApplies acute technical and project delivery knowledge to advise clients throughout the project life cycle and meet or exceed budget, schedule, and quality goalsLeads and oversees project teams in the planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning of projects of various sizesSupervises and coordinates the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist with specific assignmentsPrepares reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimatesMaintains a culture of effective communication among project teams, clients, partners, and other stakeholdersPartners with local business development teams to identify project opportunities and assists with proposal preparation, including project scopes and cost estimatesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering15+ years of water project experienceExperience delivering and managing water treatment, water transmission/distribution, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning projectsRegistration as a Professional Engineer in HawaiiExperience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large sized water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standardsStrong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teamWorks well in a team environmentAbility to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraintsPreferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Environmental EngineeringDesign and construction phase experienceCompensation Range$140,000 to $185,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
