Project Manager / Construction / Engineering

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for renewable energy projects in Cumming, GA. The role involves managing up to 30 projects, requiring 2-3 onsite visits monthly and travel for up to 3 months annually. Candidates should have at least 2 years of project management experience, preferably in engineering or construction, and must be local to the Atlanta area. Our client is looking to add a Project Manager to their team to help grow their presence in the world of renewable energy resources and power generation.

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior project management experience dealing with large retail clients, and is capable of handling up to 30 projects at a time. This role is mostly remote, but will require the candidate to come onsite to the office in Alpharetta, GA, 2-3 times per month. This role does require travel; a candidate should expect to be traveling up to 3 months out of the year.

This client is a leader in custom microgrid solutions. Currently, they are working on generator instillations for an enterprise retailer. Specializing in engineering and construction management, they serve commercial, industrial, utility, and municipal sectors with sustainable and resilient energy systems.

Required Skills & Experience
• Local to the Atlanta & Metro areas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management.
• Ability to travel for up to 3 months of the year.
• Good communication skills are required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Desired Skills & Experience
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• Degree in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering is a plus.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities
• Managing up to 30 projects at any given time.
• Handling up to 70 tasks per day.
