The Opportunity

Join us as a Project GIS Lead on a 12-month contract, full-time and play a pivotal role driving South Australia's renewable energy transition through a number of new projects. You'll lead complex spatial tasks, manage data, and enhance project GIS capabilities, ensuring resilient performance. This is a chance to shape the future of our network through innovative spatial solutions. In this role you’ll:
• Lead the development and delivery of project geospatial management systems.
• Manage project spatial databases, datasets, web maps, and applications.
• Provide expert technical advice on spatial data, analysis, and solutions.
• Coordinate spatial data management, governance, and data sourcing for the project.
• Train, mentor, and support project staff in spatial systems and applications.

About You

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled GIS professional with a passion for spatial technology and data management. You will also possess:
• Extensive experience in GIS, specifically demonstrating work on construction projects.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and/or other spatial database management.
• Ability to provide GIS subject matter expertise, manage projects, and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Strong analytical, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in GIS, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
