Leeward Energy is seeking a Project Finance Manager in Dallas, TX, responsible for leading a team in managing project financing for renewable energy projects. The role involves financial modeling, coordinating due diligence, and collaborating with various internal groups. LRE (Leeward Renewable Energy) is a high-growth renewable energy company forging a sustainable future through integrity, innovation, and positive impact. We own and operate 30 large wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States, totaling over 3 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.

LRE has an ambitious goal of 10GW of operating assets by 2028 and are developing and contracting an increasing pipeline of new projects every year. Job Summary:

LRE is currently seeking a Manager, Finance to be responsible for managing a team of analysts and associates executing tax equity, debt, and other project financing and corporate financing activities for large-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. This position is based in Dallas, Texas and provides an opportunity for a professional to perform interesting work within a small team, build experience in renewables, collaborate across the organization, and contribute to the Company's renewable energy mission.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for managing modeling efforts on project financing and corporate financing transactions
• Collaborates to identify optimal financing structures for individual projects and portfolios of projects
• Manages and coordinates due diligence efforts with financing partners
• Coordinates with LRE internal groups (legal, tax, accounting, ESG, development and construction) as applicable to facilitate financing transactions
• Manages handoff processes among finance, operations, and asset management and optimizes transaction efficiency
• Supports asset management in preparing ongoing analysis and reporting for lenders, investors, and management
• Supports project development and acquisition efforts by partnering with other company business units (origination, development, operations, legal)
• Training and oversight of finance team members

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related academic field; MBA/MS a plus
• Minimum (Five) 5 years of experience in project financing, preferably for renewables
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling techniques including valuation and forecasting
• Understanding of tax equity financing structures and considerations
• Knowledge and experience in the US renewables market
• Good team player and ability to work in a growing team environment
