Project Environmental Data Scientist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Environmental Data Scientist to join our team in New England, with offices in Acton and Hamilton, Massachusetts, and Bedford, New Hampshire. This role will play a key part in growing our data analysis and visualization practices while contributing to challenging environmental projects across multiple industries and market sectors.

Our engineers, scientists, technical, and project employees serve clients from offices worldwide, ranked by ENR as one of the top environmental engineering design firms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead data management efforts on projects, including preparing analyses and visualizations using GIS applications, and developing and maintaining environmental databases;
• Business development; including developing niche services, bringing in new internal and external clients, and obtaining repeat business from existing clients;
• Task and project management, including planning and implementing technical scope on projects, budgeting, and budget management;
• Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors;
• Work plan development, data evaluation, and communicating analyses;
• Contribute to sections of reports and proposals and author speeches, presentations, technical articles, and correspondence;
• Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties;
• Direct multi-disciplinary project teams;
• Support lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring;
• Contribute to the development of industry best practices;
• Find and implement new software platforms and/or internal processes that add value to projects and new capabilities to our technical offering.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geography, computer science, or related field;
• Advanced degree in the same (preferred);
• At least 7 years of direct environmental consulting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Advanced proficiency in use of accepted technical software, including Earthsoft EQuIS and/or ESRI ArcGIS;
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams in the environmental consulting industry;
• Demonstrated success in the development and management of internal and external clients;
• Proven leadership skills;
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment;
• Valid U.S. driver's license and satisfactory driving record for business travel.
