About the position

The Project Coordinator will oversee logistics and information flow among various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project deliverables related to ecosystem management and carbon sequestration. This role involves coordinating field data collection, managing subcontracts, and assisting in grant management and reporting.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate logistics and information between principal investigators, crew leads, subcontractors, and NAVFAC central offices.

• Supervise and coordinate the collection of field data and samples from longleaf pine restoration efforts.
,
• Plan site visits and assist in the collection of forest inventory data, soil samples, vegetation samples, and wildlife data.
,
• Process associated lab data and assist in planning all elements of grant management.
,
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports, track budgets, and maintain a calendar of deadlines.
,
• Organize meetings, catalog project data, and develop presentations as needed.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Economics, or related field.

• One year of experience related to essential duties and responsibilities.

• Valid driver's license.
