Cogent Analytics is seeking a Project Architect in Shreveport, LA, to lead architectural design projects, manage timelines and budgets, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality, sustainable designs. They are seeking an experienced, visionary, and detail-oriented Architect to join our expanding team. In this leadership role, you will oversee complex projects from conception through construction, mentor junior staff, and ensure that every design meets our high standards of quality, sustainability, and innovation. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, an impressive portfolio, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
• Design Leadership:
• Lead and manage architectural design projects, ensuring innovative and compliant solutions that meet client needs.
• Develop design concepts, schematics, design development documents, and construction drawings.
• Integrate sustainable design principles and latest technologies into project solutions.
• Project Management:
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources from initial design through project completion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to local, state, and federal building codes and industry regulations.
• Team Mentorship and Development:
• Mentor and provide leadership to junior architects and design teams, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular reviews of design work, offering constructive feedback and promoting professional development.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout project phases, managing expectations and delivering exceptional service.
• Present design proposals and projects to internal stakeholders, clients, and community groups as required.
• Quality Control and Innovation:
• Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of design quality and craftsmanship.
• Stay current with industry trends, innovative design strategies, sustainable materials, and state-of-the-art technologies.
Qualifications
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Architect in the states of LA, TX
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proven track record managing large-scale projects with a demonstrated portfolio of innovative and high-quality designs.
• Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic team environment.
• Commitment to sustainable design and innovative problem-solving.
