Job Description
Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a Programme Lead for Climate Change and Sustainability to coordinate and implement a comprehensive sustainability program aimed at achieving carbon neutrality. The role involves leading innovative projects across the city and improving residents' lives. An exciting opportunity to co-ordinate, lead, innovate, design, develop, champion and oversee implementation a robust and challenging climate change and sustainability programme and its constituent projects across Stoke-on-Trent as part of the City's response to climate change and sustainability, with a focus on the city becoming carbon neutral.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council is a unitary authority employing approximately 4,600 staff who deliver 700 services to more than 260,000 residents. Our city comprises of six towns: Burslem, Fenton, Hanley, Longton, Stoke and Tunstall. We are a city of strengths, with a proud heritage and bright future.
