Sustainable Livelihoods Program Manager

This role is responsible for managing and implementing a program aimed at strengthening small farmers' livelihoods through climate-resilient agriculture practices.
• The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Agriculture, or an equivalent field from a reputable university.
• They should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the development sector, specifically in agriculture, forestry, natural resource management, or livelihoods, with at least three years working with grassroots organizations.
• A strong understanding of climate change concepts, strategies, and government policies supporting climate adaptation and sustainable livelihoods is essential.
• The selected candidate will work closely with team members, stakeholders, funders, social networks, and other organizations to achieve project goals.
About the Role:

This is a full-time position requiring an initial contract period of two years. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing climate-resilient agriculture projects that benefit small farmers.
• Strengthening partnerships with government organizations, NGOs, and local communities to enhance project impact.
• Facilitating training and capacity-building programs for community members and partner staff.
• Maintaining accurate records and monitoring progress toward project goals.
Requirements:
