RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charleston, WV that is currently seeking a Program Manager to support the implementation and deployment of enterprise software solutions for a state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
Summary:
This role serves as the critical bridge between technical teams, deployment partners, end users, and agency leadership. The Liaison will ensure seamless communication, operational readiness, and user adoption throughout the deployment lifecycle. This position requires a proactive individual who can coordinate across multiple workstreams, monitor project milestones, resolve cross-functional issues, and ensure that deployment objectives align with strategic program goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program Manager will act as the primary point of contact between the software deployment team and business stakeholders
• Coordinate and facilitate deployment activities, including scheduling, readiness assessments, site support planning, and rollout execution
• Work closely with technical leads, product owners, and vendors to ensure deployment plans are aligned with development timelines and system capabilities
• Develop, track, and manage deployment deliverables and ensure completion according to program schedule and quality expectations
• Collaborate with training and change management teams to ensure users are equipped for successful adoption
• As a Program Manager, you will identify risks or obstacles to deployment and drive timely resolution through effective coordination and communication
• Provide detailed reporting and regular status updates to the Strategic Program Manager and executive stakeholders
• Support post-deployment activities including performance monitoring, issue tracking, and lessons learned
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in program/project coordination or deployment management
• Proven experience in enterprise software deployment or rollout planning
• Strong project or program management background, with a solid understanding of deployment lifecycle best practices
• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and related platforms
• Exceptional communication and coordination skills - able to bridge technical and business teams effectively
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-vendor environments with competing priorities
• Experience in state or public-sector programs is a strong plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
