Job Summary

Job Duties

Supervises and trains any and all staff associated with the
collection of recycling material. Sets goals, priorities and
strategies for the recycling program and manages the program’s
budget. Implements program under the director of the Manager of
Grounds, Landscaping and Recycling and in coordination with the
Manager of Housekeeping others to maximize the amount and frequency
of material to be recycled. Develops and implements recycling
volunteer recruitment strategies involving faculty, employees,
students, community members, etc., in ongoing outreach efforts to
enhance the scope and reach of the program.

Requested Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from an accredited college or
university is required.

At least two years of experience in administrative staff work is
required.

OTHER : Except for qualifications established by law, additional
related experience and formal education in which one has gained the
knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of
the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or
experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college
credits being equivalent to one year of experience
