Program Coordinator, Breaking Barriers Collaborative (contract position)

Climate Solutions is hiring a Program Coordinator for the Breaking Barriers Collaborative in Seattle, WA. About the position

Climate Solutions seeks a smart, innovative Program Coordinator with a deep commitment to equitable and just climate and clean energy solutions to contribute to the growth of the Breaking Barriers Collaborative (BBC) program. The Breaking Barriers Collaborative was launched in 2022 with four other core partners: WA Build Back Black Alliance, Clean & Prosperous Institute, Oregon Business for Climate, and the Wave Northwest. The mission of the BBC is to provide support to businesses in the Pacific Northwest that want to accelerate their climate progress. In just two years, the BBC has become a leader in helping PNW organizations transition to clean fleets. BBC has delivered multiple cohorts of its flagship multi-week program, the Fleet Decarbonization Accelerator, to businesses, non-profits, colleges, and public agencies across the Pacific Northwest. Graduates from our Accelerator include small organizations with just a few vehicles, to large multi-national businesses with thousands of vehicles. Graduates include Skanska, McKinstry, Boeing, University of Washington, Portland Community College, AAA Washington, New Seasons Markets, Oregon Metro, and more than 20 state agencies and cities in Washington and Oregon. To date, more than 65 organizations representing over 25,000 vehicles have completed our program. We are rapidly expanding the BBC to include programs for electric school buses, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, and small businesses. The Program Coordinator will support BBC programs in multiple ways, including marketing and promotion, meetings and events, database entry and management, and project management.

Responsibilities
• Create, update and manage program schedules using Asana
,
• Manage communications, scheduling and logistics with our communications agency, partners and customers
,
• Manage data entry, tracking and reporting using a CRM (Salesforce)
,
• Manage the application and review process for customers interested in our programs
,
• Plan and coordinate in-person group events, including location, food, and IT, in the Seattle area and other locations across Washington and Oregon
,
• Coordinate, host and support Zoom and/or Teams meetings and webinars
,
• Manage, track and report data, including customer attendance and feedback, throughout the program
,
• Plan, execute and track marketing programs including email and social media
,
• Create, proofread and edit copy for emails, presentations, and websites
,
• Coordinate and manage content created for the program using shared content repositories (e.g. Google Drive and Microsoft Sharepoint)
,

• Meet reporting deadlines for program, development, and administrative tasks.

• Additional deliverables may be assigned within the course of the work.

Requirements
• 2+ years as a program coordinator or similar role
,
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills and attention to detail
,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
,
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward and meet deadlines while managing multiple simultaneous projects
,
• Strong comfort level learning and using computer-based tools, including CRMs, virtual meetings, project management, content management, online forms and surveys, email marketing, social media, community platforms, and learning management systems
,
• Experience planning and coordinating in-person group meetings for up to 50 people
,
• Experience working directly with customers or clients
,
• Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Docs, including presentation software, spreadsheets, and forms
,
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus

• Experience with Asana is a plus

• Experience implementing marketing and communications programs is a plus

• Experience working in the environmental or climate space is a plus
