The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is hiring a full-time Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Design (BSSD). This role involves providing administrative support, coordinating communications, recruitment, and marketing efforts for the program. Overview:
The Program Coordinator, Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Design (BSSD) is a full-time position responsible for providing administrative support to the BSSD program in the College of Fine and Applied Arts (FAA) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The position serves as the primary coordinator for administrative needs of the program, working closely with the Director and staff to support communications, recruitment, yield, and stewardship. Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support, including planning, resource allocation, and contract management
• Coordinate with FAA Communications and external providers to develop and execute a growth-focused advertising strategy
• Assist in implementing the program's marketing plan, including developing emails, digital advertising, and web content
• Support BSSD student recruitment at on- and off-campus events and meetings
• Serve as an advocate and resource for students in the BSSD program
• Maintain thorough record-keeping of all student contacts
• Perform other duties as assigned
• *Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree
• One (1) year (12 months) of education, training, and/or work experience related to program coordination or administrative support
• Demonstrated experience processing and/or tracking financial transactions on behalf of a business or other entity
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Design, Business, Communication, Advertising, or related field, or professional or academic experience in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Design, Ecology, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or other related fields
