The University of Alabama is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Interdisciplinary Environmental Policy. The role involves teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, conducting research in environmental policy, and contributing to the New College and Department of Political Sciences. The University of Alabama is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Interdisciplinary Environmental Policy.

This appointment will be in the New College, with a cross-appointment in the Department of Political Sciences within the College of Arts and Sciences.
Responsibilities:
• Teaching and mentoring undergraduate students with varied interests in interdisciplinary social sciences and environmental studies.
• Conducting research and contributing to the development of new knowledge in the field of environmental policy.
• Mentoring graduate students in the partner department.

We seek candidates who have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and evidence of significant intellectual contributions to the field.
