About the position

The Procurement Policy, Programs and Compliance Analyst at NREL is responsible for tracking and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of laboratory procurement processes, policies, and procedures. This role focuses on enhancing customer service and data integrity while managing subcontract closeout programs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain accurate records, contributing to the overall performance of the procurement organization.

Responsibilities
• Manage subcontract closeout program and ensure timely completion of closed subcontracts.

• Interface with management, staff, vendors, and service providers to facilitate procurement processes.
,
• Provide accurate data entry for receipt of deliverables and payment processing.
,
• Troubleshoot problems related to deliverables and payment issues, coordinating with the Finance Office as needed.
,
• Maintain correspondence, records, and files, serving as the primary point of contact for records management and retention.
,
• Reconcile subcontract log with Oracle and assist with any required testing efforts.

Requirements
• Professional I Level: Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant education/experience.

• Professional II Level: Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience, or a relevant Master's Degree.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
,
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
,
• Fully competent in standard office software packages and office equipment.

Nice-to-haves
• Customer service orientation and experience in fast-paced environments.
