POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join our Bowling Green, Kentucky location as a Production Operator.

The ideal candidate would have experience in working in an ever-changing, fast-moving, and evolving environment. Candidates who have worked within a manufacturing/distribution environment are highly preferred.

Production operator will support various plant floor operational needs as part of the overall department. This position will report to Supervisor (or designate)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate and monitor production of the machinery and equipment according to procedure.
• Set up machines for production runs, being able to make adjustments to maintain quality output.
• Complete regular inspections of machinery, identifying and resolving any issues that may occur during the production process.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs, documenting quantities produced, any scrap produced, and downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote 5s by creating a clean and safe work environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to meet production goals.
• Follow quality control processes to ensure finished products meet company and customer standards.
• Able to assist with training of new operators as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Manufacturing experience is a plus but not necessarily needed.
• Ability to identify problems and find solutions.
• Proficient in basic math for measurements, calculations, and quality control.
• Ability to monitor processes and identify potential issues.
• Able to lift items that can weigh up to 50 pounds or more.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work in environments that may be noisy, hot or cold.
• Supportive of overtime hours when needed.
• Reliability is crucial, production is dependent on consistent staffing.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
